Best Use Cases
- Extended bush trips and remote camping — 4+ days off-grid with moderate to heavy power loads
- Large power stations requiring fast recharge (e.g. Flexopower 1000W+ stations)
- Overlanding and 4x4 setups with high daily energy demand
- Caravans and trailers where maximum harvest per panel is required
- Buyers upgrading from 150W–200W PERC or shingled ETFE panels
- Park in the shade, panel in the sun strategy
How to Use It
Park in the shade. Put the panel in the sun. Connect the FlexoSun 260W directly to your Flexopower power station via a FlexoLink extension cable — no separate charge controller required. Alternatively, connect directly to a solar charge controller in front of a deep cycle battery for use in a conventional fixed solar system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a charge controller?
No — when connecting directly to a Flexopower power station via a FlexoLink cable, the power station's built-in MPPT controller manages the charge. If connecting to a conventional deep cycle battery, a separate solar charge controller is required.
What is TOPCon technology?
TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) is the latest generation of monocrystalline solar cell technology. It achieves higher efficiency than PERC and shingled ETFE panels by reducing electron recombination losses at the cell surface. The result is more watts per square metre and better performance in low-light conditions.
Is the FlexoSun 260W waterproof?
Yes. The FlexoSun 260W is IP67 rated — fully dustproof and waterproof to 1 metre submersion for 30 minutes. Built for real field conditions including rain, dust and humidity.
How does the FlexoSun 260W compare to the FlexoSun 165W?
Both panels share the same TOPCon cell technology, IP67 rating, Anderson SB50 connector and 5-year warranty. The 260W uses a four-panel fold and delivers 57% more power than the 165W — suited to larger power stations and longer trips. The 165W is more compact and ideal for smaller setups or space-constrained vehicles.
How does the FlexoSun 260W compare to the Namib 240W?
The FlexoSun 260W uses TOPCon cell technology vs the Namib 240W's PERC cells. TOPCon delivers higher efficiency per cell, better low-light performance and a longer lifespan. The 260W also adds IP67 waterproofing and a 5-year warranty vs the Namib's IP65 and 2-year warranty.
What is the warranty?
5 years. The longest warranty in the Flexopower solar panel range.
Next-generation TOPCon technology. 260W. IP67. The FlexoSun 260W — Flexopower's most powerful portable solar panel.
