The FlexoSun 260W is Flexopower's expedition-grade TOPCon solar panel — the highest-output panel in the new-generation FlexoSun range. 260W of field-proven output in a rugged four-panel fold design that packs to 700 × 610 × 60mm. Connects directly to any Flexopower power station via a FlexoLink extension cable — no separate charge controller required.

Why TOPCon Solar Cell Technology

TOPCon — Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact — is the current leading generation of monocrystalline solar cell technology. Cell efficiency of 25.8% or higher means more power output per square metre than conventional PERC or shingled cells. The 16 busbars per cell reduce resistive losses and improve performance under real-world conditions including partial cloud and low light. TOPCon cells also demonstrate better temperature coefficient performance — they lose less output as the panel heats up in African sun.

The FlexoSun 260W uses 182.5 × 182.5mm TOPCon shingled cells — combining the high efficiency of TOPCon architecture with the partial shade resilience of shingled cell configuration.


IP67 Waterproofing

The FlexoSun 260W carries an IP67 rating — fully dustproof and waterproof to submersion at 1 metre for 30 minutes. Rain, dust, river crossings, condensation and field conditions that would compromise lesser panels are within the FlexoSun 260W's design parameters.

FAQ

Does it need a separate charge controller? No, if connectd to a Flexopower Power station.  Alternatively connect to a MPPT solar charge controller for a conventional fixed battery system. Connect the panel directly via a FlexoLink cable.
